A New Light on Success

In our world today, we have a special group of kids with amazing strengths; spectacular knowledge about cars, car parts, fashion and celebrities, dinosaurs, kids who are gifted in creating graphic novels, graphic design, photography, award winning poetry and many more.  These kids are becoming young adults but their future doesn’t look so bright.  These kids have difficulty with reading, math, socializing and dealing with changes in routine and many more.  These kids may or may not go to college, technical school or even graduate from high school.  Currently, the options for employment for many of these kids is part-time work stacking shelves at a department store, rolling silverware into napkins at a restaurant, sweeping aisles at a grocery store and few more. They will face stress, depression, isolation and rejection.  They have known these feelings most of their lives.  It is part of their world living on the autism…
