Being different or what God intended? Is autism punishment, blessing or part of this world?

Instead of another famous people that have autism or learning

disorders article; this will be about the thoughts behind why people might be

this way. Do you believe that God does things for a reason?   I do.  I am going

to start with a few pictures of famous people with learning disorders, thought to

have autism, etc.

autism(“Newer Insights to the Neurological diseases Among Biblical

Characters of Old Testament, By Stepehn K Mathew and Jeyaraj D. Pandian,

Anals of Indian Academy of Neurology, July-Sept 2012 volume 13)?

This is my thought on the causes of autism in the form of a poem;

Autism- No Simple Answer Says Sandra “But here goes my try!”

Autism? Simple answers? No! Here is

Sandra’s try at an explanation.

Autism has good graces.

Visit upon us to bless upon.

Doesn’t mean one shouldn’t ask,

“Why? What? When? Where and how?”

God could have intended

You being intentioned in the unhinging of the process.

Vaccination’s that is the key!

Say many with adamation!

I agree for them it could be,

A factor, insult that hit on.

Pharmacist in me says, the study was too small to make it a hallmark.

Flip the coin, drug makers threw around money, plus shouted out!!

Next, a group says environment

Causes problems no doubt.

Environmental insult.

Yep, that is why my child is shut into autism.

Remember here, environmental can be

From chemicals & diseases stalking inside to make their stand.

From, things like maybe Grandpa’s Agent Orange,

To a baby’s hospital stay due to RSV!

May yet wave

The Genetics Flag.

Throw into this mix, I will; smaller families, often an only child

That insists to be totally plugged into away from others.

Oh, how simple it would be

One answer, if could only twas or could be.

Yet, still I want to pose

Older parents, sperms and eggs as a contribution variable.

Not a reason not to conceive!

But to be aware more defects, mutations with age do occur.

Can one really say,

One cause is for autism?

Look at cancer! Common threads

There, still many different scenarios.

Genetics predispose, environmental assaults,

Turns on gene with a society that is ripe in culture and age of parents?

Yet, it matters!

No, it doesn’t matter!

Sound so crazy?

Yes, to help. No because we love and deal with it no matter what!

We learn what can and must be done.

But better realize the blame game must stop.

One answer might be cause in 1% of cases ( just me thinking),

Reality is autism is complex.

Complex, autism really is!

Yet, then is simple too.

Reaching out is what I want to do.

Remember right answers lead to correct therapy n treatments!

Wrong guesses and blame may only

Lead to burying data and wrong wizardly haphazard disasters.

Science, true keeps an open mind!

God is the first and Ultimate Scientist.

Together are we able

To do and can do n be our best.

In some ways the riddle of autism

Is not to be solved!

God means us to be

Who we are as he made us!

Change is something

All of us must do.

Adapting to you and others

Is being kind.

Let us not get behind

Stay in the forefront.

Doing out best to unlock the riddle

As much in prayer; God intends us to do!

I am sure by helping

We learn God’s lessons.

Helping those with autism

I bet could be a society improvement, God intends us to do.

No answer complete do I have;

Except my son is a blessing some may say  in disguise!

God we will accept your answers.

Thank you God! Amen!

Let me submit a few Bible Verses that have come to mind or been pointed out

to me by my best friend that often convicts me when I disagree.  She puts me

back in touch with Biblical teachings versus worldly thinking.

Jerimiah 1:5(KJV)Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before        thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a        prophet unto the nations.

(Wycliff’s Bible) Before that I formed thee in the womb, I knew thee; and          before that thou wentest out of the womb, I hallowed thee; and I gave thee        to be a prophet among folks. (Before that I formed thee in the womb, I              knew thee; and before that thou wentest out of the womb, I consecrated,          or dedicated, thee; and I gave thee to be a prophet among the nations.)

Matthew 25: 13 (KJV)Therefore stay alert, because you do not know the          day or the hour. 14 For it is like a man going on a journey, who summoned        his slaves and entrusted his property to them. 15 To one he gave five              talents, to another two, and to another one, each according to his ability.          Then he went on his journey.

(Wycliff’s Bible) Matthew 25: 13 Therefore wake ye (And so be on                     watch/ stay awake), for ye know not the day nor the hour. 25: 14 For as a         man that goeth [far] in pilgrimage, called his servants, and betook to them         his goods (and gave his substance, or his assets, to them); 25: 15 and             to one he gave five bezants, or five talents, to another twain, and to                 another one, to each after his own virtue; and he went forth anon. (and to         one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each                 according to his own power, or his own ability; and then he went forth at           once.)

Proverbs 16:9(KJV) A man’s heart plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps.

(Wycliff’s Bible)  Proverbs 16:9 The heart of a man shall dispose his way;         but it pertaineth to the Lord to (ad) dress his steps. (A person’s heart shall       ordain his way; but it pertaineth to the Lord to direct his steps.)

Consider how many famous people had a learning disability, were

different, considered out there, or  labeled misfits until they became

famous after hard work with tenacity!

Do you think this is all an accident?  Or, is this part of a plan?   Has God

demonstrated through these special people how we should treat others?  That

judging people by the way they appear at the first meeting is wrong?   I am

asking these questions to be thought provoking.  Actually, once you consider

what history has shown, my case is quite solid.

Let me start with George Washington.   I will get into specifics later.  My old

history teacher explained to me that he had spelling problems.   Various

sources say he had writing problems, spelling, grammer issues and may have

been dyslexic.  Wow!  The first President of the United States.

I guess Albert Einstein has to be mentioned.   He was said to have some odd

habits.  He was a late talker.  However was talking in complete sentence by

the time of age three.  It is thought that he had Asperger’s.  If you research

genetics; you will find out that autism, bipolar and schizoprenia are genetically

transmitted via the same genes or similiar genes.  It is genetic or one part of

the mix.  If you accept that Einstein is on the Autism Spectrum; then his

having a son with schizoprhenia follows that theory.  There are others that

disagree with the statement that Einstein had a disability.  I think he was

on the autism spectrum.

I will not extend this as a long post but end with the title and leave the

questions up to you then give you my thoughts. Is being differeng what God

intended?  Is autism a punishment, blessing and/or meant to be part of this

world?  Is it put on Earth to teach others a lesson?  How to live?

Consider these images and how they have impacted the world.  Do they have

a true learning disability?  I will let you do the research.
